DESCRIPTION:Fundraising Dinner for Life Skills Pathway\nOur Fundraiser Dinner has been rescheduled to October 24th\, 2020. \nWe have re-invented our event for ticket holders in a way that adheres to the Covid-19 Phase 3 protocols and the recently imposed gathering limits. Guests will sign up for a 20 minute time slot in a group of up to eight people for a fun-packed mini event and a delicious take home gourmet dinner and dessert. We are excited to share the details with you! \n\nGuests will attend in groups of 8\, and are encouraged to move through the stations grouped according to same household\, masked and at a social distance from volunteers and other guests.\n\n\nSealed Bid Silent Auction.  We are moving the sealed bid auction to a virtual platform!  On Monday October 19\, we will email a photo gallery of the spectacular auction items to both you and to HDCH parents.  Email your highest bid for the items of your choice before the deadline:  Thursday October 22 at 6pm.  The highest bidder will be notified and can pick up their item(s) at the event on October 24th.\n\nPay a Toonie and Play Plinko for a Prize!  Play as many times as you wish and take home candy\, a fun pair of socks\, HD swag\, a larger prize or win the chance to make a donation to the Life Skills Pathway fund!\n\n\nCreate with us!  Paint an area on the Creation Mural designed by the HD Senior Art Students.  The finished piece represents how every member of our community belongs with us\, and it will have a permanent home on the walls of HD.\n\n\nDinner and Dessert will be packaged to-go!  Nellie James Catering will prepare your requested entrée to-go and provide heating instructions.  Enjoy this gourmet dinner from the comfort of your home and the individual cheesecakes for your dessert will be the perfect finish.\n\n\nWe are very excited to have the opportunity to share about Life Skills Pathway and how HD is creating a place of belonging for all students\, including those with cognitive disabilities\, to learn within our community. \nThis event is SOLD OUT.  If you have any questions\, contact Tina VanDyk (tvandyk@hdch.org\, 905-648-6655 x 110) \nHow to Support Life Skills Pathway. \nIf you wish to support the Life Skills Pathways by funding one of the options in our Gift Catalogue\, please enter the amount as an additional donation on the form and choose the item from the dropdown menu. The Pathway provides students with activities and routines that support their continued development\, and provide a meaningful connection to Christian student life at HDCH.
