DESCRIPTION:Parents and Grade 12 Students\, join us as we attempt to demystify the sometimes confusing post-secondary application process and to help smooth any anxiety about timelines and procedures. This evening event is hosted by the Hamilton District Christian High Student Services staff \nWe’ll address the following topics:\n\nWhere to look for post-secondary options?  Electronic research tools.\nHow do we make the right choice? Working through the options.\nWhat’s the process? On-line applications to colleges and universities.\nWhat’s it going to cost? Funding post-secondary education.\nHow can I prepare my kid for the next step? Successful transitions.\n\nThe bulk of the evening will be spent in smaller break-out sessions where you can have: \n\nan in-lab experience on the college application process\,\nan in-lab experience on university application process\, and\nan in-depth explanation of scholarships.\n\nBring your questions\, and join us for a lively and informative discussion in the library!
