Spring Fundraising Dinner is Support of our FOODS Program.

Join us for our annual Spring Fundraising Dinner.

A percentage of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Wesley Urban Ministries to support Syrian Refugee Youth & Ancaster Community Food

On March 5th (doors open at 5pm), you will enjoy:

• a delicious marchè -style dinner
• a cooking demonstration featuring our guest chef
• student displays
• a silent auction of student work
• raffle of foodie goodies

Food & Nutrition
Food & Nutrition is a very important element in our daily lives and the program at Hamilton District Christian High has been developed to provide students with the ability to prepare healthy recipes to equip them for necessary life skills in order to properly sustain ourselves.

The program focuses on proper food safety and sanitation, culinary skills, nutrition, the effects of different additives found in processed food, and the benefits of making food from scratch. The program also gives students the opportunity to prepare food for themselves, their families and for others within and without our school community. Food service has become another important element of this course.

Knights Eatery
Our cafeteria, Knight’s Eatery, is another important element of our school community as students can purchase breakfast in the morning, a variety of warm entrees at lunch and different types of snacks throughout the day. The menu continues to change providing healthier options for our students to enjoy on a daily basis.
